Zing!!!

On the weekend I will be hosting a 3 hour in-store demonstration of techniques using American Crafts' Zing embossing powders at Spotlight as part of their Creative Training Workshops schedule. I am so excited to have been given this opportunity to share my knowledge with other crafters! It should be lots of fun!!!

In preparation for the demo, I have used every last ounce of my spare time to create 3 quick and easy cards and an invitation using the embossing powders...

HB Card
Cardstock - Stampin' Up!, Patterned paper - Sassafras Lass, Alphas - Fundamentals, Ink - Tsukineko, Embossing powder - American Crafts, Buttons - craft supply, Embroidery thread - DMC.

5 Card
Cardstock - Stampin' Up!, Patterned paper - Little Yellow Bicycle, Alphas - Fundamentals, Embossing powder - American Crafts, Punch - Martha Stewart Crafts, Jac paper - Arbee, Twine - unknown, Machine thread - craft supply.

Cupcake Party Invitation
Cardstock - Stampin' Up!, Patterned paper - Bo Bunny, Ink - Tsukineko, Embossing powder - American Crafts, Machine thread - craft supply.

Birthday Party Card
Cardstock - Stampin' Up!, Patterned paper - Bo Bunny, Ink - Tsukineko, Embossing powder - American Crafts, Brads - Renoir, Corner rounder - WRMK.

I think I'll also make a couple of tags for the display. I'll share them here when they are done.

I remembered yesterday that I had not yet shared with you my first ever finished, non-disaster crochet project! James was a good sport as volunteered to model it for my blog! Ain't he just the sweetest?! Here it is;

I made this beanie for James to take with him to his new job on the mines. It took me about 4 days to complete. I honestly never thought I'd be able to crochet given the number of times I had tried and failed, but this beanie is proof that I can! James even wears it in public, so I must have done something right! LOL!

And just for fun, I'll leave you with this terribly funny photo of Tilly on the trampoline taken at Granny and Grandad's house on the weekend;

Have a great day!
