I am still alive!!!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post... I have been incredibly busy with work!!! In addition to my regular job at Just Scrapbooking, I have been working hard fulfilling my Design Team commirments with Memories and More, and have been filling in at the restaurant where I used to work before my daughter was born. There are a few people away on holidays at the moment, so I am just helping out.

As a result of being so busy, I have very little to show, but here it is...

This layout was made using a class kit from Aussie Scrap Source. It was designed by Nic Howard, who I'm sure you would agree is very talented! I plan to teach this page at Just Scrapbooking sometime next month.

The kit was so much fun to use and was FULL of a wide variety of product. There was even enough stuff left over to create a card. Again, this card was designed by Nic Howard.

Hopefully you would have seen my Kaiser Wall Clock featured as the Class Handout of the Week on the Memories and More online store at the beginning of this month. It was such a buzz to see my work online, even if it were just a teeny tiny peek!!! I have just completed two more projects, one being a Free-standing Butterfly Book which I have titled "Our Special Place". It documents the fun times I had with my daughter on our daily visits to the park when she was only a few months old. It was our way to combat the 'Witching Hour'!!! Here's a peek;

My other project is a set of six cards made especially to suit teenage boys. I don't know about you but I find creating for boys is incredibly difficult as a lot of the standard patterned papers and embellishments are relatively girly. These cards may just be the answer! Here's a peek;

If you like the look of these, just head to Memories and More where they will be available for purchase as Class Handouts very soon.

I've not had much of a chance to create just for the sake of creating lately. A couple of weeks ago, Mum and I got together to craft for a few hours. We each altered a 6x6 Bella clipboard. I used patterned paper and die-cuts from the Sweet Spring collection from Fancy Pants. I am really happy with how my clipboard turned out! I plan to use it to hand my daughter's artwork on the fridge because the magnets I'm currently using just do not cut it!!!

If you would like to see what Mum came up with, head to her blog, Snail Mail, at the link shown right. It's incredible how different they turned out!
Well, I think that's it for today. Hopefully my next post isn't so long in the making!!!

Hi Chloe, Just wanted to let you know how much I love seeing what you create, and also that I know the feeling of being busy and not having a lot of time lately.Next week , it is back to work 5 days a week this semester, so I will really have to organise myself a lot better.
